One thing about having a dog, is that you must go on daily walks. Here’s Sasha in January 2008 (approximately 4 months old), ready to go.
My cat, Morpheus, used to love to sleep on top of the cushions of our couch. Very cuddly.
but he was so heavy, he’d start to sink . . .
until he was nearly gone!
In July of ’09, a sudden gust of wind knocked this large serigraph off of my mantle. As you can see, it was very broken.

I live south of Seattle and every once in a while, weather permitting, my camera spotted ‘the Mountain’ — Mt. Rainier. Normally, I don’t get a picture of it as large as it appears, but this time I did.

I almost didn’t think of anything for this week . . .
from Golden Gate Park, in San Francisco, CA. June 2007.
This week’s picture is this:
And there is a little story behind it. You see . . .
Our dog, Sasha (2 yr old, pure Lab) *loves* to lick our faces. She is known to climb up on top of my sweetie while he’s watching TV or reading (or sleeping!) and lick his face and head until he’s soaked. So a picture of that seemed like an easy one for this week.
Except that she didn’t want her picture taken. So I have a lot of pictures that look like this:
And the best one, is this:
The first flowers my sweetie ever gave me. A dozen (not red, but conveying that essence 🙂 ) roses with white stock as an accent.
NOTE: this did not publish on time!
This needs to be a two parter. Because the essence of fast is that this:
is now this:
