I’ve been watching this little darling get bigger all summer. For perspective, the body alone is about the size of a quarter.

great shot. If you want to wander down my road Iβm home.
I am not a big fan of spiders but as long as they are doing their thing away from me, I’m okay with them. I DO like Jumping Spiders, though!
Mine is up (and spider-free).
That’s right! It might be the normal way to see a spider, bit it IS upside down.
I love watching spiders grow too. I have several “pets” I have been watching this summer. This time of year their webs get so big and perfect as they go for broke trying to eat enough to reproduce for next year. so glad I stopped by.
Cute spider. We have them all over right now also especially in the garden. Time to prepare for winter and mating. Thanks for stopping by.
Wow, you really keep track how this spider grow huh. nice shot lisa.
visit mine too http://www.tsangreqz.com/2009/09/photohunt-upside-down.html

I might think they are creepy, but since they do SUCH a great job eating bugs that aren’t good for my garden — or that bite ME — I’m happy to see such big ones.
π
I’m outside everyday, futzing about in the garden. But this one is pretty prominent.
We have a couple of spiders that build huge webs, anchored between 2nd floor decks and the ground. It’s amazing.
lol — and I really get creeped out by the jumping spiders
Wow, he’s a big one.
Great shot of Mr. Spidey! I bet he keeps all the other insects from getting into your house that’s why he’s getting big lately. LOL π
Thanks for dropping by yesterday! Happy Weekend! π
Just a thought as you get more and more popular, Ms L, you might want to put “@so-and-so” in your comments if they don’t thread, that way it’s a little easier to follow who says what.
Good pic, too. π
