Books I Read in 2020

I read, A LOT. Several hours every night. I always estimated I go through about a book a day. Granted some of them are cookbooks not novels, and there is a large amount of plain ole nonfiction which isn’t a lot of *deep* reading.

Still, I read a lot. Annnnnd I’m competitive. So when a friend commented that they didn’t believe I read a book a day, I got a little motivated and started keeping track. Here then, with no comment, is what i read in 2020.

2019 Goal: Reading Top 100 Fantasy Update #2

At the end of 2018 I set a goal for myself of reading all of the books on the Top 100 Fantasy and Top 100 Science Fiction book lists. It was ambitious. For links to the the full list, see this post. For a quick review of the 44 I’d previously read, see here.

Since then, I’ve read twelve more. (For those of you keeping score, I’ve read 56 fantasy books, and 25 scifi. Clearly I need to shift my focus a bit.)

At the end of 2018 I set a goal for myself of reading all of the books on the Top 100 Fantasy and Top 100 Science Fiction book lists.

Wow. I was/ am ambitious. Fortunately, I’ve read a number of them already, so it isn’t really 200 books to read, more like . . . ulp . . . 140. That’s  . . . *sigh* a bit under three books a week.
