What a difference a year makes.
I have always been super proud of Magickal Connections, a book I think every person in a spiritual group needs to read. It’s been available for awhile, and is now in electronic format. I’ve also always felt my birthday is a special time of year.
For my birthday this year I’m offering you a gift! You can have a hardcopy of Magickal Connections for $1 plus shipping (and I will ship anywhere in the world). Contact me at lisa at cybercoven dot org for PayPal (or Venmo) information and spread the news!
Remember that Big Shift I wrote a bit about (teasingly) in April?
At the end of November my husband and I are going to San Francisco to share Thanksgiving with our family there. The next day, we’re boarding a plane to Portugal.
We have one-way tickets.
It’s been a big year for me, not just with a pandemic; too much going on to stop and write.
Tonight, under a thin slice of moon, JaguarMoon added a new initiate.
Each time we do this I am humbled and grateful. we aren’t going to be a worldwide phenomena, just a small, strong, steady group. we have a deep purpose, and great pride. Each new initiate adds strength and diversity.
So mote it be!
All hail JaguarMoon!
Each year I like to look back over the previous year, and then set goals for the coming year. Many people do this on Jan 1st; I prefer to do it on my birthday. I often refine the accomplishments and goals until my new year, Samhain, but the bulk of the work is done on or around my birthday.

Every year I do a tarot reading for myself to get an idea of what the coming year might bring. Here it is, presented (as usual) without comment.
I’m sure it’s no surprise that I have a lot of semi-precious stones that I use for magickal purposes; I’ve been collecting them for decades.
Kept in various bowls and dishes around the home, each month I ask the stones which want to go onto my altar, and there is regular turnover. I hardly buy anything nowadays, but with age has come a terrible side effect: I am losing track of which stone is which.
